Technology, K7, Retro tape deck fix, (sdf.org), 04/22/2019

Great news gopherspace! I was able to repair my Realistic
CTR-34 tape deck, circa 1975. The bands were too loose to
function, so I ordered some on ebay, and voila! It works!

This deck doesn't have a counter like the other one I'm
using for z80 cassette BASIC program loading, *but* it is
significantly more retro looking. I may create a clear
sticker to place on the window, with lines to approximate
tape position; might be enough!
