My son keeps coming back to the topic of Santa Claus. How is it that they can fly so quickly? To be precise, as a parent, I responded in a scientific manner using Clarke's Third Law: 'Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.'

My family came with gifts for my son. Where should I hide them so he won't see? The first potential spot was "explored" by him shortly after I thought of it. The second was discovered during a game of hide and seek a few moments later. Fortunately, I managed to divert attention, explaining that they weren't the wrapped gifts he had in mind. Let's see if he doesn't connect the dots tomorrow when Santa Claus brings something similarly wrapped.
