While I'm traveling by bus I'm often looking at people mobile phones. What are they looking at? Mostly at short videos from TikTok and similar. So I'm also lurking at the worst jokes and memes put into a video clip. What a waste of time.
I'm looking also at book readers. I'm trying to read a book page, even a part of paragraph. They are often so much focused on reading that my look is unnoticed. It isn't rare that they are reading erotic theme books like Fifty Shades of Grey or even less ambitious titles.
I spotted a man in his forties once who was looking like he had been reading the most serious book on the world. I had done my secret mission to obtain the text probe. It was an adventure book for school children which I had read many years earlier. I smiled to myself when I figured out this.
It's many things to look at the mass transport. But in today's times the most people try to separate from others inside their mobile screen.
