DISCLAIMER: Currently I know almost nothing about electronics so
don't laught to loud ;)

Everything started sometime ago. I was working at my computer and
suddenly my second screen faded to black. Hey what? Ok, I moved the
HDMI cable and it got back to live. I didn't mind at all and
continued with my things.

After some time these phenomena happened more and more frequently,
to the point that it happened continuosly. I started to be concerned.
Currently my knoweldge about electronics is near to 0 (a thing that
I'd like to change in the near future) but I know about computers,
how to build them from pieces (motherboard, cpu, graphics card,
etcetera), and I'm able to think by myself so I started to think
about it.

First thing I tried was changing the HDMI cable to another slot on
my graphics card and nothing changed. Then I did the same on my
screen, and nothing changed too. Time to try another HDMI cable...
the issue continues to be there. Let's try another power cable,
that didn't work either.

Now what? Ok, I have access to a second graphics card, let's change
it and see what it happens; NOTHING. By now my levels of anxiety
started to raise. I have this problem and every time I move the
cables or some time (seconds or minutes) passes, the screen comes
back to live and then it fades to black, and so on.

Let's keep calm and keep thinking about this. Maybe the problem is
something related to power supply. I can't change the power
connector of my screen by myself (remember I don't know about
electronics) so I discarded this option. I needed something at the
reach of my expertise (almost 0 lol). As dumb as it sounds I thought
maybe the problem is that there are too many devices connected to
the same plugs strip. Ok let's try to connect it to a different
plugs strip; that solved the issue.

Now I'm happy. My two screens are again working in full, and my
desire to learn electronics has increased.

If this will happen to you in the future, don't forget to test
your screen with another plug (^_^;)
