More Sumo. First there was an unfortunate incident in the second
division where Enho, everyone's favourite pixie, was concussed. His
opponent seemed to have closed fists which is frowned upon if not
against the rules. Poor Enho left the Dohyo and struggled to get up.
It appeared that a rematch was desired but Enho was in no shape to
fight again. Hopefully he recovers soon! One big improvement was that
a wheel chair appeared for him... after 5 minutes of his staring into
space. That is a huge improvement for an organisation which moved a
wrestler who could have spine injuries after watching him lie there
for 10 minutes. The JSA are improving slowly but have so far to go
still for wrestler health.
Terunofuji struggled to get a win against Wakatakakage. Waka fought
hard but eventually put a foot out. An interesting struggle for sure!
Takakeisho faced old sleepy Snorlax impersonator Ichinojo. A simple
win for Ichinojo who just pushed Takakeisho out. They engaged and
Ichinojo quickly got a belt grip and sort of lifted/walked Takakeisho
out of the ring. Strangely Takakeisho seemed limp which Ichinojo
spotted and did really well to ensure Takakeisho didn't just fall off
the dohjo. Takakeisho then stayed on the edge, clutching his right
elbow for some time. Another time to use the wheel chair. The replay
shows just how limp he was. Very odd and hopefully nothing serious.
Yokozuna run over for Takakeisho I imagine. He is young and will have
more opportunities at least.
Hakuho and the housewife's crush Endo faced one another. Endo can
always be a tricky customer able to spoil things. Well they got into
an intense game of slapsy, keeping at arms reach from each other.
Suddenly Hakuho got in there and pushed Endo out. A nice return to
form for Hakuho.
