Scouts and Explorers again tonight. Took the Scouts to the park for a
nature scavenger hunt. I had to tell a Scout off for taking a photo
down their trousers..... Delightfully awkward. Their defence was that
the photo was blurry. Thankfully was just to get a 'ewww' reaction
through taking a photo of his underwear and he was not showing it to
anyone. This is ranking on par with having to tell 2 Scouts not to wee
from the top of a tree.... TWICE! This was an issue on 2 seperate
occasions. It was hard to not laugh in fairness and at least they
didn't aim at anyone. The Explorers were much more calm and did some
paracord keyrings in preparation for a fund raising/awareness event we
are doing in a couple of weeks time. Paracord is relatively simple but
hard to remember the initial steps. No funny telling offs involved
with the Explorers this time! I am in a bit of an ADHD mind frame
today where focus is hard. I had to give up trying at paracord as the
brain was not able to focus on what to tell the fingers to do. I also
spent a lot of today faffing instead of doing. There might be
something underlying or it might be a mental off day. Might have to
tame some of the monkeys of the mind tomorrow.
