I made a mistake. I made a terrible mistake. I agreed to meetings
which meant I was on the phone from 07:30 until 15:00 with a half
hour lunch break at 13:00. Why? The first was a meeting with a team
based in Singapore to learn about what they have been working on. The
second was the main culprit. A monthly review of a programme I am
working on. Soooooo long. Sooooo dull. Mostly pointless. I did manage
to get some actual work done while vaguely listening. Scouts again
tonight. We made some 3D models of mountains using bread. Mostly as a
bit of fun to make them try to work out what contour lines on a map
mean in real life. They all wanted to eat the bread. They got to eat
some of it. They had fun and hopefully learnt something. Feet are
throbbing a little again.
