October 25th, 2025:

Here we are, 21 days later.

My Sparcstation IPX is toast.  I found a bit of time this week to
dedicate to fixing my favourite Unix box, so I dug it up from the bowels
of the lab and popped it on my desk...

.. and promptly went back into the lab to find either the *%^$*&%^$&*^
13W3-to-SVGA video adapter or my mini-din to RS232 serial cable so I could
see what the Hell I'm doing.  I found a handful of 13W3 adapters and
tested a couple out, remembering that some were for my Sparcstations and
some were for the SGI machines I used to own.  Found my Sun Type-4
keyboard, optical mouse, and reflective metal mouse pad, too.

All rendered moot when the IPX failed to power on.

Yup.  PSU is dead.

So, that's me done for this Retrochallenge.  I'm not going to have time to
troubleshoot the PSU this weekend, so I'll just have to call this one
complete with my successful Powerbook Duo 280c restore.

Speaking of which, here's the newly-restored Duo streaming Anonradio!

Good luck to the rest of you!
