February 10th:

It hasn't been a great weekend.  My daughter and I are both sick
with the same cold, and we've both been largely housebound since Friday.

I haven't been inspired to do much, to be honest.  I'd intended to set up
my Coco 3 so I could test my new RGB monitor and CocoSDC, or perhaps spend
a bit of time trying to get my Model 4P's graphics card to work.  Hell,
I'd also planned to play a bit of Atari or Sega 32X, but nont came to
pass.

Instead, I opted to sit on the couch or in bed, passively consuming the
internet (as one does) on my tablet and MacBook.  I wasn't in the mood to
engage, so I browsed my usual BBSes and Usenet groups without adding
commentary.

I did spend my usual amount of time on SDF's Mastodon instance, but I've
also been paying more attention to Movim, another federated social media
platform that does a decent impression of Google+ and, like Google+, has
not attracted much of a following.  Which is a pity, because I generally
favoured Google+ and enjoyed its Communities.  Movim seems to capture the
essence of Google+ quite well, and I'm hoping it catches on.  For my part,
I really should post something on occasion... use it or lose it, I
suppose.

Anyhow, it's 9pm and I really should get ready for bed, if there's any
hope of going to work tomorrow.
