Nothing like having your workday turn to shit ten minutes before
it starts. Sigh. Such is life in industrial sales... Ah well, it's
Friday, and I get to spend my weekend watching Belgian bike races.
It's the start of the Cobbled Classics season, tomorrow being the Omloop
Het Nieuwsblad race, Sunday being Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne. Sure, I gotta
get up at 4 or 5 am to watch, but I'm usually up at 5am on a weekday
anyway, so it's not much of a stretch.
I'm not a fan of any rider or team in particular (apart from Annemiek van
Vleuten), but I *am* a fan of cycling in general. I also love the
Flanders countryside, and hope to visit there one day (on my way to
Luxembourg). Hoping to see Didi the Devil get some screen time too :)
It's funny, anytime I mention that I'm a fan of professional cycling, some
idiot has to weigh in with "They're all a bunch of cheat/dopers", yet it
happens in almost every professional sport without comment... but I
digress.
Anyhow, the phones are starting to ring off the hook, so I'd better get to
