GEAR:
Sean uses a Black Fender Stratocaster & Jazz Bass, Laney HC50 1x12" 50w
guitar combo amp., Peavey Combo 300 bass amp., Zoom 50X Digital
Multi-effect pedals, Digitech HM4 Harmonizer for vocals, Yamaha DX-7
keyboard, Roland EP-9 88 key keyboard, Roland MV-30 sequencer/sound
module.
Sean also has various rack gear that he uses mostly in his home studio.
Live he prefers to have a minimum of gear. For guitar strings, he uses
nickel-wound .012 or .011 gauge light jazz strings. His guitar and basses
use stock pickups and wiring, and prefers solid state amps live b/c they
do not need time to warm up and the sound stays consistent from the
beginning of the set to the end.
