Course is rising slowly, because the number
of LTCs, that can be mined, is not extensible.
It seems, that over longer time the course is more
rising than the marketkapitalization.
Relying on another cryptography than Bitcoin, mining is also expensive,
but transactions are in 10 minutes and the fees are low.
With the connected lightning network transactions are in seconds (Phoenix App).
The future will show, if this cryptocurrency is secure.
If it is, then it has some advantages compared to Bitcoin.
Because of a high amount of premined Litecoins, the first miners, who set up
the network, earn much money. Therefor some people argue, that they are
betraying investors.
