             SHADOWS 1.6

() 90's style   - bangs. bangs as far as the eye can see. Floral patterns must have been big too? And shoulder pads. Mulder's tie game continues to be on point.
() 90's tech    - This will probably come up frequently, but actual film x-rays are almost extinct. Real life newspaper. VCR to review the ATM footage.
() 90's life    - Oak and green accents. Overly ornate office decorations and wallpaper. Film camera sighting. And some good ol' microfilm.

Notes:  That ATM looks like it was part of the Apollo space program.
It was also interesting that Scully notes the resolution on the VCR is too poor to enhance, thus bucking the trend of TV shows in this era being able to zoom into videos almost infinitely, though not 10 minutes later we see Mulder's photo magically enhanced by a factor of 10.
The overly-knowledgeable groundskeeper trope also makes an appearance in this episode.
