Yet another OpenBSD update post/rant.
This go-round I opted to save /home and reinstall to reclaim some space by not using /src. Install went really well and /home mounted again w/out issue.
A few python-y things don't work (gcalcli) quite yet; most likely because I installed them outside the python packaging ecosystem but even the weird
emulation and fnafiy/indierunner games are functioning. Very happy overall. I'm sticking with fvwm as the Window Manager as well, depsite there being
much more "modern" ones out there. I've always liked how simple, snappy and customizable it is.
Changes that bit me:
- machdep.lidsuspend has now taken over for machdep.lidaction officially
- R.I.P dhclient -> ifconfig handles the DHCP goodness now
To-Do's for next time:
+ Find a way to script installs of packages (firefox, mail, etc)
+ Check apmd status and starup w/rcctl
