RECIPE(FOR BEEF TIPS)
3-5 # chuck roast cubed
1 chopped onions
8 oz mushrooms quartered
old school soul food seasoning
cavenders Greek seasoning
granulated garlic
1 quart chicken or beef stock
vegetable oil
all purpose flour

Heat large soup pot and add 1/2 cup vegetable oil
dredge meat with all flour and dust off and add to pot
brown meat on both sides and remove from pot
add onions and mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft
add 2 tablespoons of flour to pot and stir in completely
add chicken stock to pot and stir until smooth
add meat back to pot and check seasonings to your taste
Cook covered in 350 degree oven for 2 hours while stiring  pot every 30 minutes
Serve over hot buttered rice

RECIPE FOR RICE
2 Cups long grain rice
4 Cups water
add both together  and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes stirring occasionally
