Recipe for Gamopilafo - Greek Wedding Rice

Gamopilafo is a special rice dish that is served in Greece for weddings.
This dish is considered extra special since it uses more than one type of meat.
However, you don't need to wait that long to enjoy it. You can make this whenever you want!

Ingredients:
2 pounds lamb meat
1 whole chicken, 3-4 pounds
3 cups medium grain rice
3 tablespoons Greek olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste

Directions:
Add lamb to a large pot. Add the whole chicken to another pot. Fill both pots with water,
bring them to a boil, and them simmer them on low heat until they're cooked all the way through.
This should take about an hour

Remove the meat from the water and reserve five cups of liquid from both pots.
Place in another saucepan with the rice and stir in the lemon juice and
add the salt and pepper, to taste. Cover the pan and bring the water to a boil.
Simmer on low heat until water is absorbed.
Arrange the rice and meat together on a serving platter.
