1 cup yellow corn meal;
2 teaspoons salt;
2 cups  boiling water;
1 cup flour;
2 1.2 teaspoons baking powder;
pinch of pepper'
1 egg, beaten;
3/4th cup cooked or canned whole corn;
1 teaspoon onion cut fine
2 tablespoons melted butter

Slowly add cornmeal and salt to water; cook, stirring constantly, two minutes or
until thick. Remove from heat; cool. Sift together 3/4th cup flour, baking powder
and pepper, add to corn meal and mix well. Add egg, corn, onion and butter, mix.
Shape into balls. Roll in remaining flour. Drop on hot stew, cover tightly,
and cook 12 minutes without removing cover. These are fine with boiled chicken or pork.
