Instructions:
- Heat saute pan on medium-high 2-3 mins.
Preheat oven to 350F.
- Add sausage and onion, saute until
sausage is browned and onion is glossy,
8 mins.
- Add BOWL 1, saute until fragrant, about
3 mins.
- Add BOWL 2, simmer for 5 mins.
- Remove from heat, add BOWL 3, stir to
combine.
- Stuff peppers with sausage/rice/cheese
mixture. Top with extra cheese. Garnish
with basil if desired.
- Bake until peppers are tender, about
25-30 minutes.
Notes: Peppers will be tender but firm. For
softer peppers, parboil for a few minutes
before stuffing.
