My last few entries have been pretty short. I think I'm
burning myself out a bit trying to write an entry for every day,
especially whenever there are days like today where I haven't
done anything even remotely interesting. I just spent all day
today watching TV or playing SimCity 2000 and some old Super
Solvers games.
There were probably other things I could have done that
would have been more interesting to write about, like repairing
my old terminal emulation keyboard, or making a smart TV out of
this Toshiba Satellite AIO PC from 2012, or trying to negotiate
the purchase of a copy of an old Russian operating system that
may be export-prohibited. These are all things that are on my to-
do list, but today, I just wanted to hang out, and I imagine it
isn't very interesting reading "Hey guys today I screwed around
all day." I certainly don't feel it's very stimulating to write
something like that.
I think that, in the future, I'll probably just start
skipping writing entries for days like today. I enjoy writing
these logs a lot, so I don't want to turn it into some sort of
compulsive thing for myself. I'm sure that there isn't anyone who
is actually reading these things as frequently as I'm writing
them anyway, haha.
