Today marks the start of my final five-day work week in
2020. It was exceptionally hectic and chaotic, as if to
commemorate the occasion. I was so tired by the end of the
workday, I was fighting sleep on the way home. Things are lined
up pretty similarly for the rest of the week. I will have earned
the shorter weeks by the time they get here.
Not much going on today. The Digital Mavica parts appear to
be lost in the post, disappearing somewhere in California on the
5th, according to the tracking data. The last update I received
of any kind was on the 9th, when they sent a message saying the
package would be arriving late (the original estimated time of
arrival was the 8th). I think I'm almost ready to start on the
Sioux server project, but I will need to order a couple of small
parts that I have run out of - switches, buttons, tiny heatsink
fans, things like that. Given the current congestion of the USPS
ordering even more stuff makes me nervous, so I'm kind of stuck
for now. Perhaps it's a sign I should take the next few days
easy.
