Sea and beach in Sanya, Hainan province

In last phlog, we were in the mountain areas of Zhejiang province,
Anji town, enjoied the mountain view and playing with valley river
drifting, was peacefull in the half mountain family run inn, nice
night sky view and listening the bugs and birds.
## Sanya, for the sea and beach we missing so much
---------------------------------------------------
After Anji, We went back to Shanghai, and took the flight to Sanya,
the city on most south province of China, Hainan (island) province.
Hainan island/province is the most south province of China, it's
close to Vitenam, Thailand. While Sanya is the most south city of
Hianan island, its latitude is 18 degree North, tropical weather.
It is the most popular tourism city for its sea and beach in
domestic China, usually people go there during winter time for
north and middle of China, because the warm(hot) weather, many
Northeast province citizen migrate to Sanya, so, you would see many
people with Northeast China accent there.
We went there many years before for some time, later, Thailand
Phuket island is getting quite popular to go, it's further south,
good hotel service, nice sea and beach, so that was also a very
popular destination for many Chinese people around especially
Sprint Festival (Chinese New Year) time.
Sanya has several coastal bay, like Sanya Bay, Yalong Bay, with
countless hotels and resorts, they most built on the inner side of
coastal road, and usually 200 meter (over or under the coastal
road) to the see and beach.
## Hotel facilities and the sea & beach
----------------------------------------
The hotel we stay also has it's own beach area, there is a tunnel
under the coastal road, through which you go to the sea and beach
from the hotel.
Inside the hotel, they have several swiming pool or playing pool
and water slide (pipe) facility. 1.2m depth for kids and people who
prefer play, and 1.5m for swiming. We prefer the 1.5m, less people
and we can focusing on swiming.
They also planted many coconut tree inside the hotel as well as
many other trees, flowers and grass, it feels like full of green
and water if you watch in room in the building.
The building/rooms are all build towards the sea direction, no room
in the oppsite direction, only corridors!
The sight view from the room is aowsome, facing the south China sea
with gree/blue water extending to the end of the sky and sea, there
are also two island in the view, and one called Xidao island
actually having population and tourism site on it.
On the other side of the road, it is the long beach and sea with
band of coconut trees, it's really fantastic view if you standing
on the beach or in the sea toward the coconuts tree belts alongside
the coastal road.
The beach is no need to say really nice, soft fine sands, well
managed umbrella and bed & tower services provided free by the
hotel, as well as the shower facilities.
I really enjoy going a bit further into the sea, where water could
almost cover my height, I would swim there on top of the wave and
enjoy the cool sea water. Once bored in water, I go back to the
beach, read the Tree-Body Problems Sci-Friction book and enjoy the
beautiful sea view!
## Foods, drinks and other plays

The food in Hainan is excellent as well, like Coconut Rice,
Wenchang Chicken, all kind of sea foods, Rice noodles, they taste
like totally local-- local made with local land/sea produced
materials.
The drinks, you could imagine, all could made with local fruits,
you could directly drink the juice from coconut, especilly amazing
if it is iced, and it is not expensive, with 10-15RMB for one
coconut. There are also produced drinks with cooked coconut or
mango, they add more other material in, so kind of mixed fruit meat
drink, iced, in such a hot weather, that's life saving!
There is also many other place to go for various facilities, like
one we went to called Atlantis waterland, they build all sort of
facilities that playing with water, it's like Disney land but all
with water plays, drifting from tall pipe with well designed curve
and up & downs, a train-like clambing up a "mountain" and dropping
into the water in a pipe track. The most excited one for me was the
"Dive of Seagod", it's like almost a free dive (I guess 75 dgree
pipe track) that you slide from the height of I guess 20 meters
within 3 seconds.
## Bonus
---------
I was able to go to the cinema in Sanya watching the latest movie
<Jurassic Park: Dominion>, and in the noon time, it is almost no
one else in the cinema! While in Shanghai, due to past 2 month
lockdown, the cinema was not openning yet in end of June, it was
really lucky that I could enjoy it in Sanya.
Alright! This really was a satisfied "summer" holiday in Sanya!
