In my town there is a horn that sounds three times every weekday: once in the
morning, once at noon, and once in the evening. The blaring tone can be heard
throughout the entire town and is used to notify workers that they should start
work, break, and end work. Occasionally the horn will sound at the wrong time
(e.g. just after daylight savings time) or sometimes it will sound during a
holiday. Whenever this happens I can't help but think I should be working harder.
