Done some more mucking about with gopher. ChatGPT has now produced
an updated version of the gopher-format-buffer function which
creates a nice clean ASCII file for text pages. I'll put it in a
new directory somewhere.
Whilst writing a short blurb for "Der Nachsommer" I stumbled across
a copy of the author's draft copy online, nice handwriting
(Kurrentscrift), I'll have a read of it later.
Also prompted me to start reading the book again, only this time
online at work, it induces a positive feeling. Unusual at work.
