Valgard~
Valgard~
Valgard, Snowbird's Silver Dragon, is here guarding the castle.
~
This magnificent beast rests here in Swanbrook Garden, keeping watch
over his Mistresses domain. He is armored from the end of his nose to
the tip of his tail in silver scales. His huge head is formed of a long
sleek nose and mouth, broadening out into a wide skull with large green
eyes, pointed ears and ivory horns. His long sleek neck flows into a well
muscled body with strong thick legs and a long, strong, spined tail.
He has been a constant companion of his Mistress, Snowbird, since she
found him as but a hatchling, after his mother was slayed for her ivory
horns and silver scales. He now protects Snowbird and Swanbrook from any
intruders who would intend to do harm.

Be afraid, be in awe, of the man you see before you, for you stand in
the presence of the Lord of the Dead. Standing a full head in height
above the average human male, his unreadable face shows forth a steely,
unmoveable strength of mind and will, dont even try to second guess
this man. Beneath his armor and black robe, his strong, muscled body
is nothing less than pure power. He looks at you and his gaze cuts
through you like the double edge sword he wields, right into the core
of your soul. He walks this world protecting it from those who would
seek to transgress the laws and do harm. If you are in his presence
to be judged for your actions, judgment will come swifly and be
completely fair. And though he is a just and fair man, do not invoke
his wrath, for it maybe the last thing you ever do.

The Gateway to Snowbird's "Swanbrook" Castle~
Tall gates of intricately woven rods of solid gold block the path
leading to Snowbird's home, "Swanbrook". On either side of the gates
is a hedge of briars and thorns, standing atleast ten feet high and
stretching out as far as the eye can see. Although she welcomes all
into her world, the Keeper of Dreams highly values her privacy, and it
is best to first seen an audience with the Mistress of Swanbrook.

Swanbrook Castle~
The gate opens onto a path laid with natural flagstone that passes
through a seemingly enchanted garden. The beauty of this place is
breathtaking. Tall majestic oaks stand along the boreder of this
garden, stretching out their leafy arms over it protectively. Beams
of bright sunlight filter down through the branches, and a pair of
love birds fly about in the sky. Along the perimeter of the garden,
fragrant bushes of red, pink, yellow and white roses grow. To the east
is a pond, fed by a small babbling brook, where a pair of snow white
swans, swim in a ballet of love, and a cluster of small bushes laden
with sweet blueberries grows. To the west is an old, roof covered
stone well, the kind that wishes are made in, and on either side of
the well is a stone bench. To the north is the focal point of this
place. There stands "Swanbrook", a beautiful, ivy covered, stone castle,
with a single tower room at the top, a small wing at the east end, and
Swanbrook Chapel at the west. The castle is entered by way of an old
rustic, arched, wooden door.

By Swanbrook Pond~
The sunlight sparkles and plays on the surface of this pond, along with
the shadows cast by the tree branches. The clear blue sky, billowy white
clouds and hanging branches are reflected as in a mirror. The water at
the north end of the pond flows out in ripples as a clear, slow flowing,
babbling brook flows into the pond over a small waterfall. Tiny water
skates glide across the surface of the water and gold fish poke their
mouths out of the water to grab a passing bug. A pair of swans swim side
by side in the pond, heads together. Around the edge of the grow wild
violets and stalks of Queen Anne's lace. A soothing breeze blows in from
the south, blowing white dandilion sees into the air. To the east of
the pond, is a cluster of bushes, heavy laden with sweet, succulent
blueberries, just ripe and ready to pick. To the north is the kitchen
wing of the castle, which is entered by a wooden door with a small glass
window in it. To the east, at the edge of the garden is a small marble
grotto. A crystal clear babbling brook flows in, emptying into the pond.
To the northeast, a small path leads to Swanbrook Forest.

13:4 Love is patient and kind, it is not jealous or conceited or proud.
13:5 love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable, love does not
keep a record of wrongs.
13:6 love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.
13:7 Love never gives up, and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.
13:8 Love is eternal. There are inspired messages, but they are
temporary, there are gifts of speaking in strange tongues, but
they will cease, there is knowledge, but it will pass.
13:9 For our gifts of knowledge and of inspired messages are only
partial,
13:10 but when what is perfect comes, then what is partial will
disappear.
13:11 When I was a child, my speech, feelings, and thinking were all
those of a child, now that I am an adult, I have no more use for
childish ways.
13:12 What we see now is like a dim image in a mirror, then we shall
see face-to-face. What I know now is only partial, then it will
be complete as complete as God's knowledge of me.

By the Wishing Well~
Here, beneath the protective shade of an ancient oak tree, stands an
old well. It is constructed of the same stone as the castle, with an
A-line roof covering, supported by two vertical beams fixed between the
stones. Suspended between the beams is a long metal rod with a crank
handle. Attached and wound around the rod is a thick rop, an old oaken
bucket tied to it. On either side of the well is a stone bench. Wild
morning glories climb up and wind around the beams, up to the roof. From
time to time, a honey bee buzzes by, collecting nectar from the flowers.
Robins and other birds sing and fly about, a woodpecker pecks at a tree.
To the south is a quint little cottage for special guests of Snowbird.
To the north, part of but separate from Swanbrook Castle, is a small
stone chapel. An arched wooden door enters the chapel, and on either
side of the door is a small stained glass window. All along the perimeter
of the garden, grow bushes of red, pink, yellow, and white roses. Legend
has it that these roses are enchanted with healing magic.

The Chapel Sanctuary~
This is Swanbrook Chapel, a place of peace and rest for the soul. This
small chapel is part of, yet separate from, Swanbrook Castle. The high
arched ceiling is supported by strong wooden beams and wrought iron
lamps hang from the ceiling. A small central isle, with a red carpet,
runs from the wooden arched door to the Holy Alter at the north end of
the chapel. On either side of the isle are five rows of small pews, and
three arched, stained glass windows. At the north end of the chapel is
the Holy Alter of God. A sense of peace, tranquility and love fills
the air. All the cares and worries of life seem to fade into distant
memories, replaced with feelings of love and joy as one approaches the
Holy Alter of the Most High God. The Holy Alter is formed of pure gold,
with engaved images of Saints etched on its front surface. Its top is
formed of a slab of polished white marble, and is partially covered by a
hand woven lace cloth. A huge white book, lettered in gold, sits laid
open on a golden book stand in the center of the Alter, with golden
urns, giving off smoke from sweet incense, on either side. Tall golden
candle stands, with white and gold candles, sit at either end of the
alter, flames flickering in the slightest breeze. On the back wall is
a tall, arched, stained glass window, depicting a man and woman walking
hand in hand, and an angel hovering above them. Around the window,
etched in stone, are the words "...AND OF THESE, THE GREATEST IS LOVE".

The Entry Hall~
The arched wooden door opens into the entry hall of Swanbrook Castle.
The floor here is of polished stone and covered by a large handwoven rug.
From the 12 foot high ceiling hangs a large wrought iron chandlier, with
a dozen small lamps. The walls are also made of stone, cut and polished
to bring out their inner colors. On the north wall is a door leading to
the livingroom, and above the door hangs a huge shield, the Coat-of-Arms
of Swanbrook painted on its golden metal surface. On each side of the
door stands a polished suit of armor, lance held tightly in a gauntlet.
In the eastern wall is the door leading to the dining room. Over the
doorway hangs a tapestry depicting two swans swimming in a pond. On the
west wall is the door leading to the the library. On wall on either
side of the door are hung paintings and picture tapestries. At the
north east corner along the eastern wall is a stone staircase going
up to the second floor.

Shrine To The Keeper Of Dreams~
The gates open into a small grotto just east of the pond. This is the
Shrine to the Keeper of Dreams. The lawn is perfectly kept and the area
is edged by bushes of Palanthas Roses. In the center of the grotto is a
small open marble round temple. In the center of the temple is a lifesize
statue of Snowbird, the Handmaid of Morpheus, Angel of the Morning,
the Keeper of Dreams. About the shrine is a semicircle of lifelike statues
of men, at the base of each statue is a small golden plaque, the mans
name on it... Sabian, Gilean, Shadow, Gamaliel, Malice, Morpheus,
Rush, Hercules, Rev, Derbar, Blacky, Bolt, Womberly, Kalten, Cyrodian and
Gwydion. Standing between the rose bushes are smaller statues of
children, also with small name plaques... Corinthian, Renevar, Rachel,
Remington, Andrew, Tamina, Laila and Liam. On a marble pedestal
before the shire, open for all to see is a large, glowing golden book
titled Snowbird's Book of Dreams.

keeper dreams ~
You stand in awe of the most beautiful, most sensious, most desirable
woman you have ever beheld. This is Snowbird, called Angel of the
Morning, the Keeper of Dreams. She is the answer to the dreams of
everyman who has ever held her in his arms, and worst nightmare to
those who have dared to betray her love. She is petite, not more than
five feet tall, with body designed expecially for pleasure. Her hair is a
mass of shimmering golden curls that flow over her shoulders and down
her back. Her eyes are a liquid blue-green, the color of the sea. Her full
red lips are poised in half a smile, ready to bestow the next kiss. She
is dressed in a flowing white robe with a ring of embroidered golden
stars. On her head is a veil of twinkling stars and in her ears she wears
clusters of shimmering stars. In one hand she holds a finely crafted
dreamcatcher and in the other, a golden goblet, from which she pours
out the river of dreams. About her shoulders is a cloak of moonlight.
She is the guardian of the dreamworld, sending to all who slumber either
sweet dreams or horrid mightmares. Floating mid-air before her is
a large golden book, Snowbird's book of Dreams.

You see here the man Gwydion, the love of Snowbird's life. He is

smiling eyes are a cool hazel green, and his hair is strawberry blonde.
This is the man that she has chosen to make her partner for life in
that realm knows to many as "The Real World" beyond this ether,
as well as in this world. He is dressed in the attire of a man of some
importance, and it is quite clear that he is of above average mind

until his life was taken as he saved a fellow knights life in a Draconian

red robe mage. In his hands he holds a book, the knowledge of the
the gods. This is the Immortal Gilean, also called Gilean the Book,
the god of Neutrality. In her younger years, Snowbird worshipped
and served her beloved god Gilean as his Devoted Scribe, personal
servant and the beloved of his heart.
~
E
Cyrodian~
Cyrodian Lyonsbane
is Snowbirds seventh husband and the father of Laila and Liam.
~
E
Gamaliel~
You see here a tall, proud Silvinesti Elf. He is dressed in the flowing
white robes of a Revered Son of Paladine. His flowing brown hair
drapes over his pointed ears and down his neck and over his
shoulders. He looks at the world around him with an air of haughty
arrogance, feeling assured that being Silvanesti makes him better
than anyone else he sees. He is Snowbird's second husband. Their
marriage ended when his arrogant pride prevented him from taking
her home to his family when he returned to Silvanos, and he refused
to even consider fathering a half-elf/half-human child.
~
E
Malice~
As you look upon this mage, your first instinct is to look away. He is
tall and almost haggerdly thin. He is dressed in the robes of a mage
of the Black Robes. Under his black cowl you can see that his right
eye is covered by a black patch. A deep jagged scar runs from above
his hairline down his forehead, through his eye and down his right
cheek. This horrid scar is the result of his encounter with an demon
while traveling through the Abyss. He is Malice D'Artek, Snowbird's
second husband and father of Corinthian, Renevar and Rachel. He
was made to choose between his Dark Queen, Takhisis and his family.
With the promise of even more power, Malice chose the Dark Queen.
~
E
morpheus~
A tall man, cloaked in shadows stands here. His dark features are
hard to see, only a thin lipped mouth, pulled in a slight grimace can
be seen. This is Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams. It is he who called
Snowbird to his service to be his Keeper of Dreams, to protect and
keep the fountain from which flows the River of Dreams. Snowbird's
son Corinthian was named by Morpheus and blessed before he was
born with Morpheus' gift of Dream Sight.
~
E
Hercules~
Before you is the largest, most powerful Knight you have ever seen.
His body is perfect, with perfectly toned muscles and hands that could
crush a man with one blow. Yet he is gentle in holding the woman he
loves in his arms. He is Hercules, Snowbird's third husband. He was
lost in battle and only his sword and shield were ever found. No word
has been heard from him since.
~
E
Rev~
You see before you Forest Warrior Rev. Tall and lean, a ranger who
lives his life in protection of the forest. His clothes are made of
leather and he carries a bow and a quiver of arrows. On his head is
a huntsman hat with an eagels feather in it. Rev Kaldara was one of
mightiest of the Forest Warriors and a love of Snowbird.
~
E
Derbar~
Before you stands a tall Knight of the Crown. The deep scar on his
chest shows his experience of battle. His face shows the scars of the
years. His brown hair hangs down to his muscled shoulders and his
green eyes sparkle when he smiles. He is Debar Shedu, once a great
love of Snowbird and father of her son Remington.
~
E
Blacky~
You see here a mage of the Black Robes. He is tall and very thin and
frail looking. His blond hair flows down his back almost to his waist.
He leans heavily on his staff, gaining support from it. About his waist
are tied bags of spell componants. This is Blacky Kaldara, brother of
Rev and Snowbird's fifth husband. He too was seduced by the Dark
Queen and choose her.
~
E
Bolt~
You see before you a tall dark elf. His skin is the color of ebony and
his hair as white as snow. His violet eyes glow with the ability to see
in infravision. His muscular body is well toned and well developed
from many long hours of training. He is dressed in the clothes of a
ranger and carries a bow and a scimitar. This is Bolt, the Drow elf,
one of Snowbird's oldest, dearest friends and companions.
~
E
Womberly~
There is nothing really special that you can see about this man. He
looks like an average adventurer, ready to explore and discover the
secrets the world holds. This is Womberly, Snowbird's sixth husband and
father of her son Andrew, and explore the world he did. In fact he
spent so much time adventuring and exploring that he forgot about his
family and returned home to find his wife and child gone.
~
E
Kalten~
You see here the god Kalten. He is tall, with ruggedly handsome good
looks and a perfect body. He is the finest example of male virility and
will persue anything female, and the younger the better. He is also
Snowbird's former loved and her daughter Tamina's father.
~
E
Corinthian~
You see here a tall, well built young man in his late teens. His hair is
the color of spun gold and his eyes as blue as the sky. About him is an
aura of mystery that you cant help but feel. This is Corinthian D'Artek,
the son of Snowbird and Malice D'Artek. He was given the gift of Dream
Sight before his birth. In his dreams he sees things that are yet to come.
His is Corinthian, the Dream Seer, named by Lord Morpheus himself.
~
E
Renevar~
The young man you see before you is Renevar D'Artek, son of Malice
and Snowbird D'Artek, and twin brother of Rachel. He is tall and lean
with jet black hair pulled to the back of his neck, black gotee and dark
piercing black eyes. He is dressed in the clothes of a Forest Warrior
and carried a cross bow and a long sword. He wanders the forests of
this world protecting mother earth and her animal children.
~
E
Rachel~
You see here a young woman dressed in black robes, bags of spell
components tied to a teather around her waist. Her jet black hair falls
about her shoulders in soft natural curls. She is not what most would
consider to be a beauty, but she is not homely either. Her eyes are like
two black pools and her full lips neither smile nor frown. This is Rachel
D'Artek, daughter of Malice and Snowbird D'Artek, and twin sister of
Renevar. She is definately her father's daughter, looking just like him
to choosing the follow the black arts of the Black Robes.
~
E
Remington~
You look at this young man and you cannot help smiling. His face is
bright and shining, and he greets you with a warm smile. This man is
Remington Shedu, the son and love child of Snowbird and Derbar. He
is tall with warm brown hair, blue eyes and a smattering of freckles.
He is the apple of Snowbird's eye and the son of her heart. He is
dressed in traveling clothes and carrying a backpack, all to wander the
worlds seeking his fortune.
~
E
Andrew~
This young man looks like a typical sixteen year old, eyes filled with
curiousity about the world around him. His sandy blonde hair hangs
down in his eyes and around his ears. Andrew is the son of Snowbird
and Womberly, and is determined to get what he wants, no matter what.
When he sets his mind to what he wants, nothing can stop him from
getting it. He is also very much a mommas boy.

Tamina~
You see her a young girl with wide flashing eyes. She is sharp witted
and does not miss a thing. Her big brown eyes study you, cutting right
through you, disemboweling your very soul. Her body is well developed
for her thirteen years and she seems to know it. She is Tamina, the love
child and daughter of Snowbird and Kalten. This child is indeed her
fathers daughter, with no mistake. One need only look at her to tell.
~
E
Laila~
You see here a young girl dressed in the flowing robes of a Red Robe
mage. Her small body seems almost lost in the array of robes. Her eyes
seem to glow with the magic within her. She is Laila the daughter of
Snowbird and Cyrodian. She is also a wild mage, born with her powers
active almost from birth. She has spent her formative years learning
to control and manage her Art at the teachings of her great-grandfather,
the Black Robe mage and head of the Conclave, Vagnard.
~
E
Liam~
Just one look tells you that this small boy is a miniature version of his
father Cyrodian. Even at this young age, you can see that one day he
will be strong and powerful like his father. Perhaps he will one day,
like his father, be Lord of the Dead. He is Snowbird and Cyrodian's son
Liam Andrew.

Snowbird's Book of Dreams
Preface
To any and all who have come to my Swanbrook, welcome, I hope
you have enjoyed your visit here. This book is a little about me,
Snowbird, and the woman behind her.
*** The Keeper of Dreams ***
First and formost I believe in dreams. I don't just mean the dreams
that fill our heads at night, but the dreams that keep us looking to
the future. Without dreamers mankind would be extince, dreamers
keep our legacy alive. When one person says "Why?", the dreamer
says "Why not?" To a great degree it is dreamers that make MUDs
possible. Each and every zone of every mud on the net is the product
of some builders dream.
From the first time I was introduced to fantasy gaming on my first PC,
which was a Commodore 64, the T-Rex of PC's, I had a dream to one
(see Page2)
~
E
Page2~
day create fantasy worlds for others to play in. I can remember playing
a fantasy role-playing game on my computer and having to play each
character myself. I can remember thinking "If only other people, maybe
even my friends, could play my other characters." At that time I was
not at all knowledgable about the Internet and had no idea that MUDs
even existed. Finally I acquired a 486 PC with a modem and a whole
new world was opened up to me. Through the man who shall be known
only as my old friend Gilean, whom I met online, I was introduced to
MUDs. At first it was quite a strange experience. I had been very
used to playing graphical games and had tended to shy away from
text based game. Yet here I was, tossed into a new exciting world of
text based gaming. My first character was a woman Warrior whom I
named Laurina. I liked playing a warrior, but one day I ran into a
character dressed in robes and casting healing spells and creating
magical loafs of bread. He was a cleric. Ha, thats what I wanted to be,
I wanted to be a healer. And so Snowbird was born. Her name came
from a tribe of indians who were named only after animals. Being part
Algonquain indian myself, I named my character Snowbird, the little
white dove. I soon choose a "god" to worship, who just happened to
be my friend Gilean, and was made his Devoted Scribe. I remember
even from my side of the screen, looking on in awe as Gilean created
(see Page3)
~
E
Page3~
wonderful things like armor, weapons, wands and other magical
things. He was using a program that I now know as OnLine Creation
OLC for short. Gilean also allowed me to "follow" him as he went
about creating new zones for players to play in. From that day on I
had one dream... I wanted to build on a MUD! I wanted to make
places for other people to play. I wanted to create wonderful mystical
and magical things. I wanted to wield "godly powers". I had what I
really though were some very good ideas for zones. At that time I had
never built a thing on a MUD and had limited programming experience.
I asked Gilean to let me try my hand at building on his mud, but as it
went, he never quite got around to giving me a chance. Eventually
his mud closed down for a major upgrade and I went looking for a
new mud to play on. I went to many muds that were new to me, but
I was never able to persuade anyone to let me, a newbie mudder
no less, to try my hand at building. Finally one day, through a friend
I had met on another MUD, I met a MUD Implementor named Shorty.
It was the break I had been looking for. Shorty, who is a really great
man as well as a fantastic Implementor, believed in giving new builders
a break with a trial zone. Shorty set me up with a 100 room zone and
told me what he wanted and I set to work. It seemed as though I just
fell into the job. Having been am amateur SciFi and fantasy writer for
a good many years, I let my imagination go and build a zone that was
(see Page4)
~
E
Page4~
a MUD version of a perhistoric dinosaur forest, just what Shorty had
asked for. I was in my glory, I had a new outlet for my creative talents.
I went on to build on three more muds, creating zones, including the
one you are in now, Swanbrook Forest. This zone is my pride and
joy. It has many many special memories for me, especially of a very
dear man who will always be in my heart. His name is Cyrodian the
Lord of the Dead, and for him there is a place in my heart that no one
else can ever fill. He knows this and I hope he will never forget me.
Epilog
As a last note... let me quote from a song that the Rolling Stones sang
long ago... "Lose your Dreams and you will lose your mind." Never
let your dreams go. No matter how impossible they may seem, no
matter how unachieveable, how unattainable, how unreachable they
may seem. Strive for your dreams... it is that striving that makes us
strong. It is the struggle towards the goal, that if it doesnt kill us will
make us all strong. Live your dreams... Never let them die.
Reach for the stars....

Final note...
As a last note... In this Shrine to the Keeper of Dreams, you see many
names of many men... these men were all played by players who
became very special friends of mine. Each of them and I were either
MUD married or were MUD lovers. To each of them I say... Thank you
for the good times we had. Thank you for the wonderful roleplaying
and thank you for the "love" we shared as characters and friends.
I will never forget any of you ever.
To Shorty , the Implementor of 4 Dimensions Mud, thank you for giving
me a chance to realize my dream to be a builder on a mud. You were
not afraid to give a newbie builder and mudder a chance. And to the
one and only Ntanel StormBlade, thank you for hiring me to be your head
builder. I know there were times I nearly drove you crazy. Hey, thats
life Nat. And to my beloved Cyrodian, I will love you forever more.

Shadow~
You look upon a man dressed in black robes, the robes of a Black Robe
mage. His casts his sinister gaze on you and it is hard to look away.
He has eyes for but one one woman, and would nearly be her undoing.
This is Shadow D'Artek, mage of the Black Robes and brother of Malice.
and Snowbird's lover. For him she was excommunicated from Gileans
temple and nearly banned from his world.
~
E
Rush~
From his slicked back jet black hair to his spit shined wingtips, this
man is a very sharp dresser. He is Rush... Assassin, thief, cutthroat,
rapist, and all around SOB. His desire was for one woman, but his
desire was not to love her but to destroy her. He wanted to possess
her very soul. Try as he may to destroy Snowbird he could not.
His goal was to turn her to the path of his Queen Takhisis, but he
could not.

The Audience Chamber~
This formal Audience Chamber occupies nearly half of the first floor.
The feeling that is projected by this room is one of grace and majesty.
This is the where Snowbird, as Keeper of Dreams, Goddess of the Night,
holds formal audience with mortals and other Immortals. From the doorway
to the northern wall, runs a wide white carpet, which comes to an end
at the back of a small two tiered platform. Sitting on the platform is
a chair, that almost looks like a throne. On either side of the chair
are two smaller chairs, for guests of honor. On the north wall above
the throne, hangs a huge tapestry of a golden cup which is tipped forward
and pouring out the River of Dreams. Along either side of the white
carpet are three chairs, for those having audience with the Keeper.
In the west wall is a large fireplace, with ornate wrought firescreen and
utencils. Above the fireplace hangs a large oil portrait of Snowbird and
her son Remington. On the northwest and southwest walls are comfortable
couches, between them a red oriental rug and large, low round tea table.
Set in the wast wall are two tall stained glass windows. On the east,
northeast, and southeast walls are comfortable chairs and couches. This
room is also used on holidays and special occasions for formal parties.
In the south wall are wooden doors leading out to the entry hall.

The Kitchen~
Ohhhhh, the wonderful smells that come from this kitchen. The kitchen
as in many old castles, has been added on as a separate room, mainly
to accommodate the huge cooking fireplace that takes up almost all of
the northern wall. Next to the fireplace is a firebox with a stone oven
over it and pile of logs. In the fireplace is a crank handled roasting
spit for roasting meat. along the west wall is a row of cupboards with
supplies of grains, flours, meal, and non-perishable food stuffs. In
the south wall is a door leading out to Swanbrook pond, allowing the
cook to easily transport water from the brook to the kitchen. In the
west wall is the door leading to the dining room. On either side of
this door, is a large wooden hutch, containing dining dishes and cutlery.
In the center of this kitchen is a large wooden table, next to it a wood
standing chopping block. Over the table hangs a large, wrought iron rack
on which hangs pots, pans, kettles and utensils. On the south wall next
to the door, are brooms, mops and water buckers. At this moment it smells
as though Snowbird's specialty, blueberry pie, is baking in the oven.

of the wall. Below the mirror is a vanity with two polished marble sinks
in the northeast corner below the windows, is a huge marble tub, partly
sunk into the floor. The tub, like the sinks, is equipped with solid
gold fistures for hot and cold running water. In the south wall is a
large closet for storing towels and toiletries and next to it, a tall
decorative screen hiding a toilet and paper holder.

The Realm Of Dreams~
A swirling portal leads to this place, a place seemimgly completely
out of time and space. The ground here is pure white sand, so finely
ground as to be almost like powder. All about, north, east, south, west
even up, is a swirling, turning mist that seems almost alive and seems
to have no end. Flashes of light streak through the mist illuminating it
and forming into images... Images of love, hope, desire, want, need,
every thing that the heart can imagine. The images appear, come to life,
and then fade as quickly. Rising up in the center of this place is a
beautiful, glowing, three tiered crystal fountain. Water bubbles up
from and flows downward from tier to tier, and then flows out of the
fountain to form a river. As the water flows into a river, the images
in the mist are picked up and carrier with it into the mist. This is
the River of Dreams, carrying dreams to all creatures that sleep.

The Balcony~
This large balcony on the north side of the castle, overlooks the entire
estate of Swanbrook Shire. To the north, Swanbrook Forest can be viewed
stretching it carpet of trees for miles. To the east, the fertile valley
with its rolling fields of wheat and corn seem to go on forever. To the
west, rising majestically into the sky, is Swanbrook Mountain. It is
here that the crystal clear waters that feed Swanbrook flow down after
a summers afternoon rain. From this balcony, sunrises can be viewed in
the morning and sunsets at night. The only furnishings here are a small
wrought iron table with a glass top and two wrought iron padded chairs.
To the south is a set of glass and walnut doors leading back into the
bed chamber.

Swanbrook Forest~
The break in the bushes opens to Swanbrook Forest. Massive trees rise
up, stretching their branches to the sky. The forest floor is carpeted
with a layer of leaves and branches and a variety of wild flowers. From
time to time something moves near by, or a twig snaps. The air here is
cool and a bit damp, smelling of earth and plants. The opening that was
in the bushes seems to have closed up and can no longer be found. To
the west and south the vegetation is too thick to get through. The only
way to go is north thru the forest and northwest to Darkhaven Square.

Beautiful Swanbrook Forest. The sun filters down through the trees,
sending shadows dancing across the forest floor. Tall trees rise up
and raise their leafy branches to the sky. A cooling breeze blows in
from the south, scattering fallen leaves. In the distance, something
moves in the shadows. The forest continues north and east. A small

This is someone's hungting cabin, and since the door was not locked, it

stripped and cured logs that are fitted together at the corners, and the
east wall is one large fireplace built entirely of stone from Swanbrook
Mountain. The floor and ceiling are made from cut and cured lumber.
Windows, with clear glass panes, in the north, south and west walls,
let hunters watch the surrounding forest. Against the south wall are
two small wooden beds with bare feather mattresses. A small table sets
before the fireplace, three chairs set around it. In the northwest
corner is a tall wooden cupboard. On the walls are hung a number of
useful items such as a frying pan, wash basin, water bucket, pots and
the like. Wooden pegs have been pounded into the wall to hang clothes on.

it was dug by someone or something. The dirt around the edges doesn't
look too safe. It might be wise to not get too close to the edge. And
if you do venture to climb down into the hole, better be very careful.
The forest spreads out here to the north, south and west. To the east
you can't see the forest for the trees.

By a Babbling Brook~
Here, flowing down from the side of Swanbrook Mountain, is a crystal
clear babbling brook. It is the result of the spring and summer rains
that fall each year, giving life giving water to the land and animals.
The brook flows from to west on to the east. The forest continues east
and south. To the north and west, you cant see the forest for the trees.

In A Cozy Guest Cottage~
This small two room cottage is just suitable for two people to live
comfortably. It is constructed of the same stone as Swanbrook Castle.
The floor is almost entirely covered by a large handmade braided rug,
and the windows have panes of stained glass. In the east wall is a
large wall to wall fireplace with and ornate firescreen. Before the
fireplace is a round walnut table with 4 chairs. The fireplace also serves
as a place to cook meals over the fire or bake in the oven above the
firebox. Against the south wall is a large comfortable couch. In the
southeast corner is a walnut rocking chair, next to it a table and lamp.
On the west wall on either side of the door are two tall bookcases, each
fill with a variety of books. In the east wall next to the bedroom door
is a large rolltop desk, complete with chair, ink, quill and parchment.
This is indeed a very comfortable cottage.

In a Cozy Bedroom~
This bedroom is comfy and cozy. On the stone floor is a large handmade
braided rug, upon which sits a large comfortable bed, its head against
the east wall. The bed is piled with comforters, and many large pillows.
In the west wall is a stained glass window which opens to a view of the
garden and pond. Against the south wall, next to the door, is a tall
wardrobe for storing clothing. On the north wall is a small fireplace,
just large enough to warm this room. In the northeast corner sits a large
comfortable chair, a table with a lamp and a ceramic tea service. In the
south west corner, by the window, is a small dresser, a ceramic bowl
and pitcher, soft towels and scented soaps on it.

In a Grizzly Bears Den~
The dark cave comes to an end here. The smell here is definately that
of a wild animal. The floor of the cave is lined with dead leaves and
broken twigs and clumps of amimal fur. This can't be anything other
than a den. In fact it is... It belongs to a ... GRIZZLY BEAR!

In a Deep Hole In the Ground~
That was one DOOZIE of a step! And this is one doozie of a hole. The
ground here is damp, and moldy smelling. Pieces of tree root protrude
from the walls of this hole like spidery fingers. Looking up, it looks
like the soft earth at the top of the hole gave way and climbing out
will be a bit messy. To the north is what appears to be another hole,
in the wall of this hole.

Climbing a tree~
This is a large tree and is also very, very tall. Climbing up it is
not a task for the weak of heart and falling down it is not for
anyone, so be careful. Up leads to the tree canopy and down is the
forest floor.

In a tree canopy~
Up here you can see the whole forest, well atleast the top of the
other trees in the forest. Birds fly around you in what looks like a
circular pattern, almost like they are going to be hunting a corpse.
Down is the forest floor.
