A small, make-shift dwelling~
You are within a hut, made from branches weaved with long leaves. A crude
bed has been fashioned out of dried grass and goat's wool. A sweet smelling
smoke swirls about the room from herbs being burnt in a fire, in the center
of the hut.

Nhair Household~
You are within a small, drafty cottage. A fire is inset into one of
the walls, warming the place. A number of pots hand from a metal arm
overhanging the fire. Animal skins line the floors, softening the
floor, underfoot. A few small windows let light in from the wilderness
outside.

the Witches Lair~
You suddenly find yourself within a tiny room stuffed full of
strange apparatus and mammoth tomes. Huge clouds of smoke billow
from odd cauldrons littering the room. Loud bangs and crackles
echo out from a number of containers. The room is total chaos!

There was once a time when gods and mortals walked this
world side by side. The lands grew lush as the gods
wittled the earth, as a carpenter to a tree limb, for
man to inhabit. It is said that the great god of air and
wind, Shaundakul, transformed into a great eagle soaring
through the sky, majestically swooping at the ground
below carved these valleys and thus the mountains into
the land, and created these fells.
Time passed on and the gods grew distant from one another,
conspiracies arose and the conflicts began. As tales tell
it was a god called Bane who threw the first blow,
leading an army of men on a horrific assault into
neighbouring lands. There are many a tale of the battles
won and lost, but in short this lead to the destruction of
the world as it was.

Amongst this time, here in the fells, Shaundakul, spirit
of the winds, fought valiantly to preserve his and his
kinsmans home; ultimately he knew it was in vein, the world
was lost. In a last attempt to preserve life from the
destructive powers that now consumed the lands the remaining
deities who had attempted to preserve this would collect
together and ascend to another life in order to oversee the
future of this world and one day guide it back out of the
flames.
An old and not so common tale talks of a child born on the
day of ascention, bearing the mark Shaundakul. Few have
heard this tale and fewer speculate that this child is the
daughter of Shaundakul. From the transcripts I have managed
to salvage and decypher her name was 'Lyriana'. Little is
written of her after her birth. I believe the fells soon
fell victim to the fiery hoards which consumed the lands.

Nhair Lineage
The Nhair family are closely bound to the deity shaundakul.
It is said that the first breath of life Shaundakul blew
into the fells bore a child of which he called Turin Nhair;
the beginning of the Nhair lineage. Legend tells that Turin
was raised by Shaundakul himself, like a son. Turin was told
to posses many of the magic and arts held by Shaundakul himself.
As life flourished and ages past the Nhair name was a highly
regarded one, but it soon sank into history as the dust of time
left its mark. Some still say that the Nhair bloodline retains a
part of this magic, but i can tell you laddie/lass i've nay felt
any magic, especially not in these old bones <laugh>
