ph2 or phlog

I'm feeling torn between two SDF projects, and short of time for
either one.

MOTD Phase 2 is discussing a purpose for a new MOTD-based
collaborative development project. It's a good match for my interest
in getting back into blogging, further develop my web site, and to put
more in/get more out of my MOTD membership. The idea of the project
has generated some good discussion both on BBOARD and on the above
linked wiki page, but I am still having difficulty crystalizing in my
mind exactly what the project should seek to accomplish.

Phlog gopher-based journaling has been attracting some attention on
SDF. I have long wanted to get involved with the gopher community and
have wanted to include a blog-like feature in my gopherspace. Some
other MetaARPA members have contributed some interesting phlogging
tools, though none of them generate a phlog as I'd prefer, so I'm
looking at compromising my gopher aesthetics or implementing my own
phlog. (I suppose it doesn't have to be a script. It could be as
simple as dropping journal entry files into a "phlog" directory and
saying, "There it is.") (A dual-use phlog-blog with a script that
exports phlog entries into NanoBlogger ...?)
