Everything Gets Backed-Up February 2014

* Did I say "February"?

[2014-05-30 Fri] EGBU is too important for me to let it cool down and
be forgotten. This needs to be taken care of before my interest runs
off on any more tangents.

* Urgent Priorities

 1. Identify all current data sources
 2. Recover photos and video from Flickr, YouTube, prev. back-up
 3. Back-up all the above (to CD-R? mem. stick?)

* Next Priorities

 1. Set-up SVN repository and on-line back-up system
 2. Set-up off-line back-up routine
 3. New presentation (TIR)

* Primary Goals

From now on ...

- On-line back-up (data copied to separate device, preferably
 separate host, but may be accessible by WWW or other means):

 + Content (files, DB content) authored by me:
 + Content managed by me:
 + Other content:

- Off-line back-up (data is copied to removable medium and stored
 externally)

 + Content (files, DB content) authored by me:
 + Content managed by me:
 + Other content:

 Store on CD-R or portable memory?

* Secondary goals

The following features may or may not be implemented during EGBU
month, but EGBU systems should allow for threir eventual
implemntation.

- Version control system

- Reorganization of files

- TIR content management system
