Oh boy what a mess today was. On my break when I thought I could
go out and capture a quick video there was all sorts of construction
and loud noise. Even in the wooded area it was annoyingly loud.
Lunch time came around, and usually Thursday is alternating between
Halal Bros and Ross' Old Austin Cafe, but with Libre Planet 2019
coming up I needed to go earlier in the week. After lunch I thought
ok just a quick 5 minutes and then go back to work. Oh no! Well
I started wandering looking for a place to record and I find a
spot. Then when I recorded it about 5 minutes later I realize that
the phone camera is pointed at the tree. Well that won't work will
it? I found another spot where I could use the front facing camera,
and then did it again. This is what is up on the Toobnix channel
now. It can't be that simple can it? No way man of course not.
I head back to the road, but oops that's not the road that is a
freight train baby! oooh bummer I walked about a quarter mile the
wrong way. In the end I got back to my desk like 30 minutes later
than expected. I don't think I was missed and I'm typing in terminal
so I can look very serious right now. I'll probably stay late to
make up for it.

There's flooding in Nebraska. My Grandma and Grandpa on my Mother's
side live there, but not sure if they're in any danger. Hope that
Tob is doing ok he's out that way too I think. He mentioned it on
the DGC yesterday, the flooding.
Went to Stage Dive a stand-up open mic at Coldtowne Theater in
Austin. It was a fun show with some non performers in the crowd,
which is always nice.
I also visited Black Star Co-op, a local cooperatively owned
brew-pub, for a few drinks before the show. I'm on the Board there
and so gotta do my part to support the Co-op!
I think I may do a video show taste testing and talking about
liquors and beers with some friends. I'll keep gopherspace updated
with that too!
