Today is going to be a great day!

I email-ed fellow gopher enthusiast and got some fantastic tips
and guidance on how to setup menu pages, and formatting of content.
I am hoping that I will be able to work on that tomorrow morning.
I won't go and drink two beers and a shot of whiskey in a strange
Irish pub.

The LISA Schedule for today is

0900 - Pulling puppet strings with Ansible. - I'm excited because
I've played with both technologies, but would like to see how they
work together and if it is something I could combine into a something
functional at work.

0945 - Enabling Invisible Infrastructure Upgrades w/ Canary Analysis
- I'm unfamiliar with Canary analysis but would love to automate
our upgrades, so fingers crossed!

1100 - GitOps in the Hybrid Cloud - I suspect that this is about
a particular technology and it may be vendor specific.  In any
event I hope to get some best practices for hybrid cloud deployments.
This is where we are headed at work for sure.

1200 - Lunch with Thor! My friend Thor from Austin is a coffee
roaster in Portland now.  Excited to catch up with him and hear
how his family is doing.

1400 - Kubernetes the Very Hard way - I did python the hard way,
so I am excited to learn how someone did Kubernetes the hard way.
We are about to enter a frontier where this may become my life.

1445 - Challenges of Managing an Open Source Infrastructure - Don't
have to tell me twice. I am hoping this is educational and gives
some insights into some other problems that people have solved.

1600 - Expect the Unexpected - This is the expected highlight of
the day. I really want to hear this talk. I need some help.

1645 - This sis a contested spot ; I could go to the Expand contract
pattern for continuous delivery of databases, or I could go to
Distributed Sys Admin teams.  I think the teaming talk is more
practical for me, but the database talk is maybe more impressive
for manager types to hear about... so conflicted.

And that's it for the scheduled stuff. I think I will do my best
to learn and use my down time more efficiently.
