The guide below is purely a personal recommendation and need not be
followed. Each skill listed below has advices/tips shared by senior
players to guide you in building your character!

Fire/Poison Wizard is a special class that has a whole new
different training style to level up. Instead of relying on 1vs1
(killing monsters 1 by 1), they are able to use Poison skills.

Each poisoned monster will take damage over time without having
to attack it, until it's left with 1HP, and the best part is that
this damage is a fixed percentage of the monster's MaxHP and never
misses once the monster is poisoned. All you need to do is poison
every monster once in the map and finish them later.

             [ How to become a Fire/Poison Wizard ]

* Requirement: Level 30
Once you’ve reached Lv 30, go back to Ellinia’s Magic Library,
which is located at the highest point of Ellinia. Go inside, talk
to Grendel the Really Old. He’ll give you a letter and you’ve to
pass it to the job advancement instructor located at the north of
Ellinia.

After giving the letter, you’ll be given an errand to collect 30
Dark Marbles by defeating the monsters inside. Be careful to stock
your potions up before you start collecting the 30 Dark Marbles.
Once you’ve collected 30 Dark Marbles, talk to the instructor, and
he’ll award you with a Proof of a Hero.

Go back to Ellinia’s Magic Library, and talk to Grendel the Really
Old once again, where then you’ll advance as the Fire/Poison Wizard

16 - 18 means Level 16, 17 and 18 [Level 16 to 18].
20 - 20, mean only Level 20.

Poison Brace 30/30 MAX
Meditation   20/20 MAX
MP Eater     20/20 MAX
Slow          1/20

Total        121 SP

This build sacrifices Slow to add both primary attacking skills
(Fire Arrow + Poison Brace). Slow is not important for players if
they do not like slowing down monsters into snail’s pace. For those
who want Slow, you could sacrifice Meditation (replace it with
drinking temporary Magic Attack Potion) or sacrifice MP Eater
(least important).

                                                           < p04 >
[ Pure Fire Skill Build - Fizard ]

Not many recommend adding Poison Brace, because 3rd job has
Poison Myst.

MP Eater     20/20 MAX
Slow         20/20 MAX

This build was great before Ludibrium came out because Ludi has
powerful monster that Poison Brace can take advantage off in the
early stages of Fire/Poison Wizard.

Note: This build requires you to use magic claw during level 30 to
50 most of the time.

41 - 46 : Teleport 3 [MAX]

Summary
----------------------
Fire Arrow    0/30
Teleport     20/20 MAX
Poison Brace 30/30 MAX
Meditation   20/20 MAX
MP Eater     20/20 MAX
Slow         20/20 MAX
----------------------

This poison build will help you gain faster leveling speed compared
to the ordinary common Fizard Build. Around level 53 and above, you
will be training on higher level monsters with massive HP
(life/hitpoints) where poison can take advantage of dealing K
damage (the damage is a fixed % of the monster's MaxHP).

Teleport is absolutely wonderful for mages. It is useful for
getting around and avoiding getting hit while it increases training
speed.

Slow is useful on ordinary and boss monsters. It gives you ample
time to make an escape without bumping into monster who is crawling
towards you at snail’s pace.

MP Eater is added later to save meso.

Meditation boosts magic damage and is added last because you can
buy temporary magic attack potion from NPCs.

MP Eater

Drain enemy’s MP after every magic attack unless enemy MP reaches
0 Mp. Works passively (automatic). Most people recommend to max
this skill as it saves you a lot of MP potions (saves meso) during
2nd and 4th job training.

If you see Blue Stars encircling your character, it shows that MP
Eater is activated.

Cleric love this skill because undead monsters have the highest MP
compared to other monsters.

MP Eater works on single and multiple monsters. However, the total
MP drained for a single vs multiple is the same.

Master Level: 20 | Type: Passive

Meditation

Temporarily boost up the magic attack of party members nearby.
It works on all jobs (warrior, thief, bowman, magician, pirate).
However, magician is the only one who will be benefiting from this
temporary magic attack boost since they deal damage via magic att.

Does not stack with magic attack potion booster.

It's recommended to max this!

                                                           < p08 >
Teleport

Use the arrow keys to teleport to other places in the same map on
a set distance.

Useful to move around within large maps quickly, helps in training
(reach to the monster quicker) and escaping from monster attacks
(teleport away).

Teleport is also required in Ludibrium Party Quest.

In short, this skill is recommended to be maxed. Saves your HP and
MP potions!

Slow

Temporarily slows down 6 opponents around you. Doesn't stack for
multiple uses.

Works on boss monsters (e.g. Crimson Balrog, Anego, Werewolf).
It's not really necessary to max this.

This is handy when you solo boss monsters alone, so that if you
fail to knock-back, it gives you sufficient time to teleport away.

Slow can be cast while you are on rope/ladder too. Very useful to
avoid bumping into monsters. Can save lots of HP Potions.

Fire Arrow

Create a fire arrow with the power of magic, and fires at an enemy.

Applies 1.5 times the damage to the ice-based monsters, whereas
fire-based enemies receive only half the damage.

Poison Brace

Creates a poisonous water bubble, and shoots at an enemy.

The enemy gets temporarily poisoned with a set success. Does not
stack. Does not kill the enemy, leaving it with 1HP. Great against
monsters with lots of HP. Not many monsters are weak against poison
