Time Moves
(This is my first post, i have no idea what the formatation
should be)
I've been thinking for a while and realised a thing:
Time is moving.
Things are getting old like:
- The Xbox 360 can be emulated
- PS2 games can be played on fucking phones
- 2019 was almost 4 years ago
- PS5 is a thing
- I can play Kirby: Return to Dreamland on
my Intel i3 with integrated graphics
- Old popular Minecraft youtubers aren't
as popular
Looks pretty obvious but time is moving faster than
i thought it was, things are changing and i haven't noticed.
The X360 was the most powerful console that i've ever
had, for me it was a overpowered beast, the PS2 was also very
powerful for me. The Xbox One and the PS4 were like unneeded
luxury items.
I thought that phones were weak little things used to
send messages, watch videos and play some fun simple and
lightweight games, now they can play real console games and
have apps that weight above 1GB! How can a phone handle that?
My pc is not definitely not a powerfull one, how can it
play games that are from basically the same generation from
the PS2, the supercomputer that could run GTA: San Andreas
and Shadow of the Colossus.
If, the XONE and the PS4 were unneeded luxury items,
why is the PS5 a thing??? Wasn't the X360 already enough???
I used to watch minecraft channels all day, they always had
fun, new and creative content, then suddenly other channels
some random videos with cartoon and movie characters started
appearing, it felt so generic, then i realised the channels
i used to watch were making content with other games, or
making those generic videos, or just stopping.
The thing that hit me the most was the fact that
2019 was almost 4 years ago. It feels like 2020 and 2021
were non existent, only a few months away. i've wasted two
years of my 15 year life doing nothing. I haven't learned
anythingnew, i haven't met new people (or almost any people),
i haven't gone to a new place, i only stayed at my home,
watching random youtube videos and just being a waste of
space, air and money.
