A simplified, single-toolbar GIMP UI would be wonderful. I use a very
minimal set of tools day-to-day in GIMP, and only need a few palette
swatches visible. Something like the Grafx2 UI would be a dream come
true.

So... why do we live in a computing world where putting together
custom "chrome" for any application is a Herculean labour?
