* <<FCT.1297>> JavascriptMachine
The idea of a system where *everything* is a web app is sort-of
interesting, but Chromium OS and Firefox OS are not. The approach
taken, to just build a new userland on top of ARM/x86 Linux, is
certainly practical, but it's also kind-of boring. If Google or
Mozilla or someone else wanted to do something ~really~ interesting,
they could design a high-performance Javascript HLLCA and write a
web-centric OS from the bottom-up in JS. Y'know, like a LISP
machine, except with JS. ~That~ would be pretty nifty.
