Dear Santa Claus,


It's been a number of years since last I wrote you.  I can only hope
that my correspondence wasn't missed.  If it was, I do apologize for
falling out of touch.

I have only one item on my wish-list this year.  I know that your
line is toys and that this may be beyond your capacity to deliver,
but my need is great enough that I am looking into every possible
resource for its procurement.

Santa, if it is within your power, please bring to me this year:

   1. Reciprocity of desire from my wife.

Thank you very kindly for your time.  I wish you the greatest success
on your route this year, and a very happy new year to follow.  Pass
along my fond regards for the builders in your workshop and for your
sleigh team as well.
