I love comics.  Always have.

What a great medium!  The expressive possibilities are endless.  I'm
a pretty straight-ahead cartoonist, so I may not be the most
stylistically expressive guy on the planet, but even for someone as
limited as me it's an amazing medium.

The most impossible mechanics, the most improbable environmnets, the
most preposterous scenarios...

Speaking of preposterous scenarios:

[Inside the office of a general contractor.]

I've drawn-up this plan for a house, and I think it's pretty
exciting.  Now, I'm self-funded so I can't really pay you much, but
I'd love it if you could build it for me.

Ah ha haaa... some of you already know where I'm going with this, and
some of you are already annoyed.

Exposure....
..if you can get me ~that much~ exposure, that means you can *damned
well pay me*.
