If freight trains come through your town, so did
passenger trains til the '60s. Let's get Kentucky,
Tennessee, and Amtrak to bring back passenger ser-
vice!
A proposed Bluegrass line will take existing track
Cincinnati to Atlanta, with stops in Lexington,
Knoxville, and 14 other towns. A day & night train
will run each way each day, quick as driving.
Amtrak coach tickets cost what gas costs to drive.
## Col 2: What can you do on the train?
- Sleep, enjoy view, talk, walk, eat/drink, toilet
- Travel without a car or if you can't drive
- Visit family, go to a festival, carry-on a bike
Board Amtrak's Cardinal in Cincinnati; ride to New
York, Philadelphia, Washington, Charlottesville,
Charleston WV, Indianapolis, or Chicago.
In Atlanta catch Amtrak's New York to New Orleans
Crescent to Charlotte or Birmingham. Take the pro-
posed restored EK line train from Winchester to
Irvine, Beattyville, Jackson, or Hazard.
