Okay, for the hell of it I'm writing this gopher entry on a PowerBook
G3 PDQ, using SimpleText.

That's it. That's all there is to this. Okay, not really. I do have to say
that while using basic text editors without column - line marking is
annoying, as I have to figure out where the 80th column would be
for proper formatting to an 80 column display: My personal
default, for obvious reasons.

Thing is I'm lazy so I have decided to just infer where column 80 is.
If I cut lines short that's fine. If they are long, well, it will be an
example of things just not going as planned.

I really enjoy typing on the G3 PDQ. I cannot stress how nice of a
keyboard this really is. I love how it feels kind of bouncy, yet is
still a very solid typing experience.

While the trackpad has quite a bit to be desired, and the lack
of abaility to disable the trackpad while typing has resulted in
me making a few palm-click errors, it still suffices for control
of the system.

Byt really, the typing experience is something else. I mean,
it isn't the best thing in the world but it's damn nice for a
keyboard on a portable system from 1998. Yeah, this damn
thing is like 25 years old and still works fine.

Right, time to get this file onto SDF, update the gophermap,
and see if everything turns out properly.

End of ramble.

PS: Okay, Gophermaps do NOT format properly in simpletext
so I will upload this file and then edit the gophermap from
my main systems.

PPS: Okay, typing this portion from my main machine, none of this went well.
All of the formatting was absolutely fucked and I had to basically re-create
the file via copypaste. Then again what do I expect from simpletext? I can't
recall how it behaves but it may not be like Notepad or other more pure text
editors. Or maybe I did something wrong, I don't know.

It doesn't matter, this was just a fun aside. I'm leaving in the typo's as I
didn't notice them on the G3, and I find it funny how they contrast me gushing
about the keyboard. I likely would have noticed the errors were my vision not
going downhill like it is. :\
