society's a fable. you have people making choices. No basement
required. Just learn basic civility. Smile and nod. Be friendly.
Takes care of most of these 'issues'. Oh I'm no philosopher.
But I study people behavior and patterns of behavior, both
individually and in groups. "I can't be an asshole - society is
oppressing me!" Ok. If that's oppression, then BINGO, you're
oppressed. == Seems like it. Oppression via requiring unwanted
conformity and you see yourself the victim == Just calling it
like I see it. You're espousing a victim narrative. Plain as
day. Change your narrative. Life's a lot easier that way. No
more oppression. No more society to worry about. == Oh, I don't
care about your point. I just wanted to make sure you weren't
seeing yourself as a victim of society's oppression against the
rights of the individual. Seems to me you're doing fine. You can
have your theoretical point if you like. I just wanted to make
sure I wasn't talking to someone feeling victimized. It's a

death in about 42-44 years, , give or take. No apocalypse for

[unless you believe you chose your mom + dad before you're born
