lol funny/interesting thing: I was drawing that picture and
didn't see that you posted the _same concept_ 'til just now. [it
took me longer than 5 minutes to draw it 'cause my 10 yr old
nephew was out here telling me how he was going to "flood the
market" in animal jam with rare spikes to drive the price of
cheap necklaces up by making them scarce.
Freakin' kid is an economics wizard. believe me, I barely
understand it myself.
There's trading in this game, things for sale, etc, all with
different prices. He's basically thinking of ways to change "how
people perceive" the value of stuff by manipulating the internal
economic system of the game itself. It's a kids' game but with
all the sophistication of our world pretty much, just in cute
cartoon form.... and all the drama and everything. He's really
hooked on it. It's not as big as minecraft and XBox games, but
its its own subculture.
I just nod my head a lot and pretend I understand what he's
talking about most of the time.
