^made plain black beans in a pressure cooker tonite. Was always
  afraid of dried beans. 1 minute to "quick soak", quick cool
  pressure cooker under water, drain water from beans. Put back in
  pot. Add 3 cups fresh water. 8-10 minutes cook time, quick cool
  again. Done. Next time, I play with spices and beer and things.
  and I'm not afraid anymore.^
