problem is in debates on this topic: Most are like a ping pong
game; back and forth, or a tug of war against sides.
But this wasn't a debate but rather a genuine discussion; a rare
thing indeed smile emoticon Once people are committed to discuss
rather than debate, they can mutually find pathways to move away
from the typical binary "opposition" of debate and, while not
always reaching definitive conclusions, at least can see an open
field of possibilities beyond the binary.
