lol I actually picked up Dianetics around the same time. Around
  14 yrs old. Flipped through it. Same Edgar Cayce stuff wrapped
  up in a Book of Answers format.
  Ender's Game wasn't long after that. By 16, I was reading books
  on black holes (the little that was there) and got all
  uber-physics + psychology loving. Then my first PC - Tandy 1000
  TL - and 300 bps modem and I was online. Bye bye library smile
