What makes this discussion topic difficult for me is that I've
been trying to actualize it, in the belief that you can make
small changes in concentric circles around yourself. Agent of
change and all that. And you _can_ ... but it's *really*
difficult to make real. I'm sorry if I was ranting, Manuel
Delaflor - it's just that I've been trying to balance
utilization of the existing capitalist system in a manner _most_
reflects this very value system - from my dealings with the IRS,
from my marketing and advertising efforts, how I handle and
disperse money, my lifestyle, trade and barter skills and all
these marvelous ideals. Yet without the support of a community
of like-minded people, it's uphill sliding backwords when it
gets to a level where it's not words on an Internet forum. I
*want* this to be a reality and I've found that I had to turn to
virtual reality to actualize it in some form. I had for 23
months a money-free system where I distributed land generously
and equally, giving people all the tools necessary to create
their reality, with no stipulations except: Don't be a bully.
[on Minecraft - 27,000 ppl total - real people whose land
happened to be on my computer but otherwise, not so different].
Real people learned to fight and cooperate. There was nothing
*to hoard*. We had jails for offenders to common decency, and
yes there was STILL thieving and looting on occasion. Yet, there
was no food to worry about. I took away death, except in areas
that people wanted to fight and die. There were limitations of
land area but not what you could do with it. So it's not like
reality. Yet it was a hint of what's possible. But in 'real
life' - I've been trying to make this happen since I was 18 in
some form, and I'm 43 now. It's frustrating.
