It's interesting seeing his picture and what he does. Children's
  entertainment-education. I guess that's kind of what I do a lot
of. I made a series of Vines over the past 2 days about self
discovery - where 14 year old me meets 43 year old me and
accidentally messes up the spacetime continuum in the process.
[didn't mean to make a movie - but when I put them together in
  sequence, they became one].
  [1]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piuHfTyj3z8 - anyway,
something like this, through the symbolism within it, would
quality as children's entertainment... and also children's
education - mostly about not taking yourself or the world around
you too seriously but taking yourself very seriously at the same
time. If you've ever seen children's entertainment, they have
their own logic; full of symbolism that has multiple layers on
it, mostly involving doing everything to break expectations,
surprised and confuse, making you stop and process "Wait, what
did I just see?" and they piece together the story in their
minds out of the bits and pieces presented.
As adults, we're trained with a certain linear sequencing but as
children, the absurd makes more sense than what we consider the
rational; but they use rational internal processes to piece
together things, often in unexpected ways and come up with
  plausible reasons.

Mixing up figurative and literal language is a big one; kids
often love puns for that reason; they're mini puzzles to figure
  out.

    * Yeah - the car picture (happened to spot it on a diagnostic
sheet - we were getting an oil change today) struck me as
very strange indeed; all the sides of the car folded *up* -
and left me with an unease feeling. Then I realized how it
shows "all perspectives at once".. which is one of those
parts of oneness that can be disconcerting.

And the kitty; yeah - she was standing on the toilet and
thought, "Wait - I can have her leave a clue and I'll use
this old badge of me and turn this into a story!".

Your mom's best friend sounds like my kind of people
and yeah - I used to hang around electronics stores as a
kid; always wanting something... always annoyed at what's
_not there yet_. I'm still annoyed at how technology
advances more slowly than I'd like, but I'm happy we're here
where we are now. The boy on that badge and taking that
picture of the future dreamed of something _just_ like
      this.. and here we are.
