The new tools for music production that are available on phones
and home computers are allowing GenZ production possibilities I
DREAMED of growing up. I tried - man I tried to create
electronic music - my soundcloud has some of my attempts in the
84 and 88, using my little home computers... but now? They have
FL Studio... they have clips from hundreds of thousands of songs
to work with... they're creating new sounds that were once
impossible.... I look forward to how music will sound.
Kids have access to professional quality equipment that's easier
to learn. No more years of music lessons required; if you have a
musical ear and some dedicatoin to learn the software, you can
pump out stuff as good or better than the "professionals" - and
not have to wait for a contract or anything. It's really a
marvelous age we live in now.
