  from, although similar to, the Scientific Method.

  Science having no predetermined agenda? That's a bit tricky to
  swallow. What is a Hypothesis? The shot in the dark as it were?
  A romantic, wistful hope, full of purity and all goodness for
  ideal things? We can't know the impetus behind the hypothesis.
  If you wish to compare evenly, and take the scientist out of the
  science, then you can equally take the engineer out of the
  engineering and get the same result.

  They must both be married to their practitioners, or divorced
  from their practitioners, but if one is married and one
  divorced, it is not a fair comparison.
