In our case, they're necessary because signatures and stuff. Of
course it could be duplicated online but you'd be VERY surprised
that as tech saavy as consumers, are, BUSINESSES are not.
Cost/benefit-wise, faxes are cheap and easy. Long distance
copies of important documents. 1:1 correspondence.
