*while I haven't done LSD in a long time [I haven't done any
drugs except caffeine and nicotene for a long time], it was the
  drug I enjoyed.

What I *didn't* like is that it lasted TOO LONG. 8 freakin'
hours. First 4 were great. But then, I had to go into the office
the next day.. or school [depending how old I was when I did
it]. and was annoyed I couldn't sleep. Also, it's the only time
in my life that a cheese sandwhich could taste and feel like
  plastic and cardboard mixed together.

Almost not worth eating it tongue emoticon It's probably the
only one I'd recommend but ONLY IF someone is in the right
mental state for it. It amplifies and if you're not
psychologically healthy, don't do it. It doesn't really *add*
much to the brain per se... it just messes with the dials a bit,
turning up some chemicals while inhibiting others.

You can have a similar effect by not sleeping, or listening to
certain music, or whatever. The drug just kinda guarantees the
SpecialFX. That's awesome. You can develop synthestheia.. at
least I think you can. I've been told I have it, but I'm
skeptical. I see sounds, feel colors sometimes. Smells have
texture. But these are all things embedded in our language as
well through metaphors, so I suspect we *all* have a form of
  synethesia. [a word I can't spell tongue emoticon ]

I was like that since I was a kid. The world has never been dull
  to me.
