When I feel like torturing myself, I multiply servings x
  calories-per-serving. I'll do the same for carbs or fat or
  sodium. Totally ineffective though. I know the numbers, and
  still eat the whole bag.

  I excuse myself by multiplying the protein as well. Protein=good
  therefore the rest doesn't matter. *sigh* anything is
  justifiable.. especially when you get some statistics involved
