I believe the scientific methods and our desire for objective
knowledge acquisition are noble pursuits in themselves and can
help guide policy and some aspects of morality.

But here's the thing: Within a utopian dream of a singular
society with the pursuit of knowledge and scientific
methodologies, how will it be governed? What will be the
suggested (or required) morality of "the people"?

It's important to pen that stuff down because if it turns out to
be successful at some point, what happens then?
